Last year RamAir brought you a first with radio-reality programme "The Lockdown". Big media coverage, a great weekend by all involved and one of the biggest events RamAir has put on made us want to do it again!

Lockdown 2010 applications are now OFFICIALLY OPEN!!! The programme will run between Friday 12 March and Sunday 14 March 2010. To apply (it only takes 5 minutes) go to www.thelockdown.co.uk, there is even loads of information on the show there too.

The Warden, the holder of the mystical keys for RamAir's "The Lockdown" is hanging around campus after 10 months of respite. The Warden will be dropping in on The Andrew McSweeney Show on Friday 22nd January for a very special Lockdown announcement; if you are at all puzzled then listen from 4pm to learn more!

RamAir is back on Monday 11th January with all your favourite shows (nearly)! Some shows may not be broadcast during the exam period due to presenters' revision and exams getting in the way of all this radio, but most shows should be on as normal. From Saturday 23rd January all will be as normal again!

We have a lot planned for semester 2, so watch out for fundraising for the RamAid appeal and some big radio events and even a new website!

The UBU Christmas Market returns after the success of last year on Thursday 17th December. RamAir will be there from 2-5pm bringing you Christmas songs from the ages in the Richmond Atrium and live on-air!

Also the UBU Xmas Raffle will be drawn, raising money for the RamAid appeal for new studio equipment for RamAir, along with the much-anticipated RamAir member auction - where members of the station will be auctioned off to the highest bidders to do anything they want for a day!

Want some cleaning done? How about wrapping presents? Then come along to the Atrium on Thursday at 3pm to bid and raise cash for YOUR student radio station.
