This week sees two fantastic events. On Monday night from 10pm there is a selection of music from the past 25 years to celebrate the 25 years of the current RamAir studios in Escape. Including a set from RamAir alumni Mark O'Brien kicking off the night, it's only £1 entry and £1 for standard pints.

Then, it really kicks off on Tuesday with alumni presenters returning from 11am - see the schedule for more information. You can also download our work in progress 'A Brief History of RamAir' by clicking here.

On Tuesday 29th April at 7pm, the latest RamAir General Meeting is to be held in MR1. Come along to share your thoughts on RamAir and vote in our new 'Head of Events and Socials'.

Also, the following Tuesday - 6th May - is 25 years since the studios were first opened. A selection of alumni will be returning to broadcasting some fantastic shows so tune in... RamAir will also be going retro with a flavour of old adverts and stings.

As it's March once more, the executive team for RamAir has changed. It's a big welcome to Andrew McSweeney as the new station manager, Dom Smith as the Chief Engineer, Andrew Sykes as the Head of Production, Bryn Richards as the Head of Marketing, Sam Hopkins as Head of News and Sofie Rogers as Head of Features. Andrew Roberts remains the Programme Controller, Lydia Critchley is still the Head of Music and previous manager Philip Lickley becomes Admin and Finance. Photos and descriptions coming on the exec page after Easter!

Following the live broadcast of the students' union 'Questions to Candidates' on Thursday, you can now download the entire thing, split into five sections, in the archive.

More to come after the next round, which will take place on Monday 3rd March in the Atrium at 6pm, and will also be broadcast live here on RamAir.

Three things to tell you about in the world of RamAir. On March 3rd 'Honk! Honk! Pound Pound' return with 'Seven Deadly Sins'; seven sets of the best of indie, pop and rock around the seven sins. Visit the Facebook group for more information.

Also, on the 10th March RamAir will be holding its AGM. If you're interested in standing for one of the exec positions then pick up a form from the office or e-mail manager@ramair.co.uk. Also, every RamAir member is entitled to a vote!
